Angle steel can be classified by surface treatment into hot-dip galvanized angle steel, electrogalvanized angle steel, painted angle steel, etc.
Hot-dip galvanized angle steel refers to immersing the angle steel in molten zinc at a high temperature to attach a layer of zinc to the surface of the angle steel, which has good anti-corrosion properties.
Electrogalvanized angle steel refers to depositing a layer of zinc on the surface of the angle steel as an anode through electrolysis.

How to judge the quality of angle steel?
Visual inspection:
Quality angle steel has a complete appearance, uniform thickness, and is free of scars, cracks, creases, and other phenomena.
Chemical composition analysis:
The composition of angle steel determines its performance and affects its price. You should check its inspection standards for C, MN, S, and P. If you plan to purchase in large quantities for a long time, it is recommended to directly determine the composition ratio to ensure the purchase of high-quality steel.
Price judgment:
Most of the steel costs come from the cost of raw materials, especially the price fluctuations of iron ore and coke, which can lead to fluctuations in steel prices. If the price is significantly lower than the market price, and it is a new cooperative manufacturer, it is recommended to conduct careful investigation.
How to get a lower price?
If you want to get a lower steel quotation, here are some of my suggestions：
Understand the market conditions of steel raw materials, especially the market dynamics of the exporter. When you are professional, you will usually receive a reasonable quotation.
Do not only negotiate for the lowest market price, which is difficult in the initial stage of cooperation. Moreover, if you only pursue the lowest market price, you are likely to be exploited by some unscrupulous traders who sell you inferior products.
Visit the factory for field investigation, communicate more with the seller, and understand each other. After establishing trust, the seller will usually offer more favorable prices to their familiar and trusted buyers.
Only after multiple cooperations with the exporter, you may obtain a more favorable quotation. At the same time, your purchase quantity and payment method will also affect the final quotation.
