Market transactions are relatively low. Under the condition of weak demand and high inventory, it is expected that the price on June 20 will be mainly subject to narrow fluctuations and adjustments.

◎ This week, the average tax-free cost of molten iron of Tangshan mainstream steel mills was 2,551 yuan/ton, and the average tax-included cost of steel billet was 3,354 yuan/ton, down 71 yuan/ton from the previous week. Compared with the ex-factory price of 3,380 yuan/ton of common square billets on June 19, the average profit of steel mills in China was 26 yuan/ton, up 81 yuan/ton from the previous week.
◎ On June 14, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam decided to launch an anti-dumping investigation into some galvanized steel plate products originating from China.
◎ The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam recently decided to extend the deadline for the anti-dumping review of Chinese H-beam products to January 5, 2025.
◎ The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam has accepted the application materials submitted by relevant enterprises for the anti-dumping investigation of some hot-rolled steel products originating from China. It will review within 45 days and report to the minister to decide whether to investigate the case.
